"Decent overall, but the DNS setup bugged me"
It wasn’t a bad experience overall, but the DNS side took longer than I expected and got a little frustrating. I’ve helped my brother set up similar stuff before, so I had a rough idea of what should happen, and this just felt slower than it needed to be.

"The hosting tools felt clunky..."
The hosting tools felt clunky to use. Backups had me confused more than once, and even basic stuff seemed way harder than it needed to be. I’m not saying everything was a disaster, but they definitely didn’t make it easy on the customer.

"Uptime’s fine, but the drops get old"
Most of the time the uptime is good, but every now and then it just drops out, and it gets annoying having to wait around for things to come back.

"Using the site feels like way too much work"
This site is kind of a headache to use. I felt like I had to put in way more effort than I should just to find what I needed, and it got frustrating quickly

"Just feels “too pricey” for what you get"
I thought this was way too expensive for what it actually offers. I was expecting a bit more considering what I paid, but it just didn’t feel “worth it” in the end. There are cheaper options out there that do pretty much the same thing, so I can’t say I was really impressed...

"Scaling got frustrating fast"
I started out thinking the plans would be flexible enough, but once my site needed more room, things got messy quickly. The upgrade options were confusing, the pricing jumped more than I expected, and I kept getting hit with verification steps over and over, which got annoying. It’s fine if you’re staying small, but if you’re planning to grow, it can feel like you’re constantly being pushed into a bigger plan.

"Setup was a headache"
so I tried getting everything set up, but the whole onboarding process felt confusing. There were way too many steps, not enough clear guidance, and support took a while to get back to me. I ended up giving up before I ever felt like I was properly up and running.

"Backups didn’t give me much confidence"
I had a hard time getting comfortable with the security settings, and dealing with backups felt more frustrating than it should’ve been. It also kind of felt like there wasn’t a real person there when I needed help, which made the whole thing feel even less reassuring. I just didn’t feel safe keeping my site there.

"Canceling was such a headache"
Canceling my service with myinmotion.com ended up being way more of a hassle than I expected. I figured it would be a quick request and done, but like i said, I kept having to check back and ask what was going on.

The refund part was the most frustrating. I got different answers depending on who replied, and it really felt like nobody wanted to just take care of it. Days kept passing and, like i said, I still didn’t have a clear answer.

Maybe someone else had a smoother experience with them, but mine was disappointing. It left a bad taste, and I don’t see myself using them again.

"Pretty easy for domain and email stuff"
Got my domain and email set up without too much trouble, which was all I needed. Support was a little slow to get back to me one time but besides that it’s been smooth so far..

"Migration support was kind of a headache"
I reached out to InMotion to help move my site, it ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. At first I thought it would be simple, but then replies were slow, and I kept getting passed from one person to another, so...

The migration also took longer than they originally told me it would. When it finally finished, a few things on my site weren’t working right, which meant I had to follow up again just to get basic answers. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

Maybe other people have had a smoother experience, I don’t know. But for me, the support during the site move felt poor, and I wouldn’t use them again for something like this.

"Renewal felt a little sneaky"
It was fine overall, but I’d definitely check the renewal price first. Mine caught me off guard.

"Website is slower than it should be"
I tried browsing InMotion and it was kind of frustrating. Pages were taking a while to load, and a few things felt laggy even though my wifi was fine. I was just trying to look up basic info and kept sitting there waiting. The site has that polished company wording everywhere, but the actual experience didn’t really match it. It definitely didn’t feel smooth.

"I had a frustrating experience with their customer..."
I had a frustrating experience with their customer support. It took forever to get a response, and when they finally replied, it felt like they just sent a copy-paste answer without really reading what I wrote. I had to explain the same issue multiple times, which got old fast. Maybe other people have had a better experience, but for me it was more frustrating than helpful...
